Great attention to detail and a very efficient set-up
Everything done within timescale. Explained by service advisor and verified that everything was to my satisfaction.
Booked a 90minute wait from 8:30am, turned up and told there was nothing recorded and had to wait till 5:40pm. On looking at my car noticed the staff had scratched my boot. I spoke with the manager and was told they would contact me, still waiting.
My car was booked in for a end warranty inspection and MOT, the Sytner computer system had not registered the booking even though I had received a SMS Text confirmation. Service advisor, Josh, overcame this issue quickly. Booking failure means a 4.
On time at a reasonable price but marked lower as I could have had the car serviced at the same time.
Whilst it was a waiting appointment, I was there 2 hours and there was no indication of the approximate time given, but I had hoped it would be quicker than 2 hours.

Car booked in for 90 minute service - told that it would be 2 hours max instead. Car returned 3 1/2 hours later. This is not the first time that Sytner Newport have not been very honest with how long they need the car for.
I have had an issue with poor communication recently and an unresolved issues with my air conditioning and water jets over the past 2 summers.
Very satisfied hence the figure. Nobody gets 100%! I reserve that for very special cases, and haven't issued a '5' to anybody yet.
Overall the service was satisfactory Lewis was very professional kind courteous as it should be

Fast & Efficient
Did the job on time and washed the car.
Had to take car back as the the display screen had not been reset. Heard a rattling under the bonnet while driving had to pull over and remove the screw driver that the mechanic had left under the hood !
All work done under warranty
I've given 5 stars, however, I'm basing this rating not solely on service but the overall experience which includes Wendy (front of house) and Sabeel who's just brilliant, they are both key elements of the service experience as far as I'm concerned.
I've always found the staff here very helpful, friendly and know exactly how to meet my needs whilst I'm at the show room. The service I've received from James Chesworth was a key reason that I decided to stick with Sytner and BMW for my next car.

Sytner Newport provide an excellent service both on pre and after sale service.All the staff I have dealt with have been attentive and knowledgeable.The showroom is modern,smart and welcoming.My vehicle has always been ready on time and washed.
I had a few questions about the how to operate the sat nav and one of the staff spent quite a lot of time explaining. I now have confidence in inputting destinations.

Brake pad change, dropped the car off then had a phone enquiring about the locking wheel nut explained that it is in the usual place mechanic could find it which resulted them drilling of the wheel nuts but all the time it was in the correct place
Issue with quote for service and confusion as to which service was actually needed but was resolved By staff favourably, honouring the original quote I had Been given.

dealt with in customer waiting area. poor communication by adviser. could not provide receipt at time of collection and had to ring 3 times during a week to get receipt. no phone calls back and took up to 4 mins to answer phone. not to BMW standard
I deal with Nicola inker one of the service advisers who always gives excellent service, and works hard to ensure great customer service.
Communication from the service adviser was ongoing throughout the day. An update to reassure on how things were progressing.

Had the car for 4 days. Ready to collect at 10:00, collected at 17:00 and it wasn't cleaned. The reason given was "it's next on the list".
The cost of the service was not initially known but I was informed it was £120 dearer than the price quoted when I booked the car in. It was then reduced without a thought which made me wonder how many people had been overcharged?
Comments above apply, only slight negative is that parking at the site is a bit of a challenge.
I love my BMW 1, and the servicing is always completed well. However, my car was booked in for a two hour wait service and MOT at 9.30 am. The work was not completed until 2 pm: I was waiting for four and a half hours.

I was very satisfied with the service experience at Sytner in Newport.
staff were extremely friendly and helpful but I spent almost 2 hours in the dealership during my two visits on the same day.
Service seems satisfactory but had the car cleaned free as last valet was poor. Inside valet poor again, dust everywhere, not what you expect

Valet of car after service was appalling
On the service report it said that the uneven tyre wear needed attention. I knew that which is why I asked them to look at it!!! In the end I had to go elsewhere. Tyre wear issue still not resolved!!!
Lift home and pick up service , plus your car is beautifully cleaned.
BMW Warranty for 36 months is not worth the paper it is written on! I think BMW should refund my bill of £1989 ?
A panel was left open and I then proceeded to drive the car. The panel was damaged and I couldn't drive anyway due to it catching on the road. I don't expect to pay for a service to have damage to the car!
Totally dissatisfied lied to ignored by email and phone out of pocket by £680 which did NOT fix our car as it was misdiagnosed they even lost our engine cover!
Took too long
When dropping the keys off the eveing before my booking I was kept waitibng for 45minutes and then the following day was kept waiting for 60minutes to collect my car
A problem was identified just less than a year ago, but it has returned. I suppose this really relates to the engineering side of the house.

When I picked up my car it smelled like flatulence. I had to drive home with the windows open.

Bought vehicle in twice because you didn't fix it the first time, then argued over replacing a part in warranty that was eventually replaced, still no proof this part was replaced so have to take your word for it.

Despite having booked the car in with plenty of notice, it had to be taken back to have it's first year MOT, because it could not be completed the same day.
A very expensive garage. People are very friendly and kind. I don't understand why I need to communicate with a rep in a suit rather than the mechanic. The mechanic on the video told me a tyre was illegal, the rep said it isn't. Whom do I believe?

They did a good job for my break pad service.
I phoned in to speak to someone, as had two problems after service - loss of power, which has rectified, (dirt in petrol disturbed by work on car?); and the driver windscreen wiper not properly fitted and came out in heavy rain - no call back made
The service was performed to a high standard , and I was kept updated at regular intervals .

Issue was fully sorted
I booked a 'while you wait' 90 minute service which included free valet service, and video. Arrived at 1.20.pm for 1.30pm appointment and didn't get car back until 4.45.pm. Long wait. When finished car was dirty. Told very busy that day.
Work carried out was to a high standard and pleased overall.
Although Car was serviced fine and the lady who dealt with my car did a great job. I had to make the choice due to my time restarints given at the point of delivery not to have the car cleaned as there was a 1- 1.5 hour wait.

Martin Nolan has been my contact with Sytner in Newport for over ten years and has looked after me exceptionally well. He is the main reason I continue to buy my cars from Sytner in Newport.
