dealt with in customer waiting area. poor communication by adviser. could not provide receipt at time of collection and had to ring 3 times during a week to get receipt. no phone calls back and took up to 4 mins to answer phone. not to BMW standard
I deal with Nicola inker one of the service advisers who always gives excellent service, and works hard to ensure great customer service.
Communication from the service adviser was ongoing throughout the day. An update to reassure on how things were progressing.
See above. Also I've had no call asking if all is now ok, which is something I did have from Sytner Cardiff.

On the last visit the car was serviced on time
Had the car for 4 days. Ready to collect at 10:00, collected at 17:00 and it wasn't cleaned. The reason given was "it's next on the list".
The cost of the service was not initially known but I was informed it was £120 dearer than the price quoted when I booked the car in. It was then reduced without a thought which made me wonder how many people had been overcharged?
Comments above apply, only slight negative is that parking at the site is a bit of a challenge.
I love my BMW 1, and the servicing is always completed well. However, my car was booked in for a two hour wait service and MOT at 9.30 am. The work was not completed until 2 pm: I was waiting for four and a half hours.
Every time I've came to BMW Nicola has always been very helpful and polite always happy :-)

Took an hour of waiting to cllect the care after new brakes pads and MOT
I was very satisfied with the service experience at Sytner in Newport.
staff were extremely friendly and helpful but I spent almost 2 hours in the dealership during my two visits on the same day.
Service seems satisfactory but had the car cleaned free as last valet was poor. Inside valet poor again, dust everywhere, not what you expect

Excellent customer service
A panel was left open and I then proceeded to drive the car. The panel was damaged and I couldn't drive anyway due to it catching on the road. I don't expect to pay for a service to have damage to the car!
Lift home and pick up service , plus your car is beautifully cleaned.
BMW Warranty for 36 months is not worth the paper it is written on! I think BMW should refund my bill of £1989 ?
Totally dissatisfied lied to ignored by email and phone out of pocket by £680 which did NOT fix our car as it was misdiagnosed they even lost our engine cover!
On the service report it said that the uneven tyre wear needed attention. I knew that which is why I asked them to look at it!!! In the end I had to go elsewhere. Tyre wear issue still not resolved!!!
Took too long
When dropping the keys off the eveing before my booking I was kept waitibng for 45minutes and then the following day was kept waiting for 60minutes to collect my car
A problem was identified just less than a year ago, but it has returned. I suppose this really relates to the engineering side of the house.

Had to wait for about an hour for a lift back to the house because there wasn't a car available

When I picked up my car it smelled like flatulence. I had to drive home with the windows open.
Bought vehicle in twice because you didn't fix it the first time, then argued over replacing a part in warranty that was eventually replaced, still no proof this part was replaced so have to take your word for it.

Josh was very helpful and professional and sorted out my issue.
Despite having booked the car in with plenty of notice, it had to be taken back to have it's first year MOT, because it could not be completed the same day.
A very expensive garage. People are very friendly and kind. I don't understand why I need to communicate with a rep in a suit rather than the mechanic. The mechanic on the video told me a tyre was illegal, the rep said it isn't. Whom do I believe?
I phoned in to speak to someone, as had two problems after service - loss of power, which has rectified, (dirt in petrol disturbed by work on car?); and the driver windscreen wiper not properly fitted and came out in heavy rain - no call back made
They did a good job for my break pad service.
The service was performed to a high standard , and I was kept updated at regular intervals .

Courtesy car was made available but servicing was completed earlier than expected and car returned before mid day. Excellent.

I booked a 'while you wait' 90 minute service which included free valet service, and video. Arrived at 1.20.pm for 1.30pm appointment and didn't get car back until 4.45.pm. Long wait. When finished car was dirty. Told very busy that day.

Although Car was serviced fine and the lady who dealt with my car did a great job. I had to make the choice due to my time restarints given at the point of delivery not to have the car cleaned as there was a 1- 1.5 hour wait.

I am a relatively new customer for BMW but at my branch in Newport I can only say that I was given a first class customer service.
Overall good standard of service, WIFI seemed to be a bit of an issue
First service not carried out on day booked due to workshop being swamped with recalls. Once service was carried out, a fault repairable under warranty was identified but will not be addressed until a further 1000 miles of damage has been caused.
Experience would have scored more but for delays in return of car.
They carried out the work as requested efficiently and to time.

Delays occurred in arranging service. Issues logged for repair not completed. No follow-up call/booking made relating to repairs outstanding
One slight blip was that the check list I was given included information from a previous visit when a tyre had to be replaced because of a bulge in the side wall. This was sorted out and explained.
There was confusion over the booking - I had to wait circa 30 minutes. The service advisor was excellent throughout the process. When I collected my car, it could not be found - it was eventually found on the ramp - I had to wait circa 40 minutes.
Even though there was a misunderstanding with the booking I was completely looked after

The tyres were under inflated upon driving on the motorway, I had to stop to inflate them.
Everyone at Sytner Newport were friendly. All the information given was in a clear, black & white fashion. No hidden cost, service done in roughly the time scale give.
Every part was completed quickly and efficiently
personal service is very good but the value for money is terrible, £650 for oil, sparks and a couple of filters is ridiculous

Failure to return calls
The service wasn't completed by the time promised but the delay was handled politely and professionally by the service advisor. In the circumstances it wasn't too much of a problem.

Final purchase was fine but it took me 2 attempts with a previous sales lead to get a car to test drive. This was only remedied when I changed to a new sa,Es lead, Martin, who was helpful and supportive during the sales process.

Martin Nolan has been my contact with Sytner in Newport for over ten years and has looked after me exceptionally well. He is the main reason I continue to buy my cars from Sytner in Newport.
It took me 2 years to decide on my recent new car purchase during which time I had a number of test drives most of which were organised by Martin Nolan. He was very helpful and patient, often providing videos of possible used cars.

Very efficient and helpful. Unfortunately there were a couple of technical faults with the car upon delivery, but these were dealt with promptly and effectively.

I like Martin Nolan.s style of quietly selling but was a little disappointed when I collected the car since all the rims including the boot area were wet from the washing of the car and had not been dried off. I did this when I got home!!!!!!!!!
